I write small software that works
CTRINO is one person making focused tools. Mostly WordPress plugins. Sometimes other things. Built slowly, supported personally, priced like a small shop.

A short list of non-negotiables
These are the rules I follow when I build. They're also why some products I'll never ship.
Local-first by default
If something can run without sending your data anywhere, it should. External services exist as opt-in, never as default.
No custody, no API hostages
Wherever possible, you own the assets and the keys. A tool shouldn't sit between you and your money, your data, or your users.
Built and tested
Math gets a test suite. Payment flows get integration tests. AstroChart ships with 480+ tests, including astronomical accuracy checks against independent references; EDD BTC Direct with 18 covering the full payment lifecycle. Numbers should be right.
Support from the person who built it
When you email support, you reach me. Not a ticket bot. Not a tier-one outsourced agent. Sometimes I answer in an hour, sometimes the next morning. Never a template.
No subscription traps
Paid things use annual licenses. When the license expires the plugin keeps working — you just stop getting updates until you renew. No silent auto-renewal, no held-hostage features.
Focused, not bloated
One product should do one thing properly. No kitchen-sink feature lists, no creep — a deliberately drawn line is a feature, not a missing one.
About
Hi, I'm Simon
I love writing software that works well and reads cleanly - code I'm not embarrassed to open six months later. The things on this page are what comes out when I get to choose what to build.
Mostly WordPress plugins right now. Other things will probably show up over time. I'd rather ship one small thing that's actually good than five things that almost work.
If you install something I shipped, you're using code one person wrote, tested, and stands behind. That's the whole pitch.
